Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1)

Scientific background →

The ASRS-v1.1 screener asks about six core symptoms of attention deficit/hyperactivity over the last six months -- a notably longer look-back window than the two-week PHQ-9 or GAD-7 screens, since ADHD symptoms are by definition lifelong, not episodic.

This questionnaire is for self-assessment only and does not replace a medical or psychotherapeutic ADHD evaluation. An ADHD diagnosis always requires a thorough professional evaluation, including a look at childhood history. If your result is elevated, talk to a doctor, a psychiatrist, or a licensed therapist.
