Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI)
Scientific background →The CBI measures burnout separately across three sources: personal exhaustion (independent of your job), work-related exhaustion, and -- if it applies to you -- exhaustion from working with clients, patients, students, or anyone else you support as part of your job. If you're currently not working or don't work with clients, answer those questions as best fits your situation -- those two subscales may be less informative for you.
This test is a self-exploration tool, not a clinical or diagnostic assessment. It does not replace guidance from a doctor or licensed therapist. If exhaustion persists, talk to your doctor, see a licensed therapist, or reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988, free and available 24/7 in the US).
